Door Supervision Upskilling Training

As of the 1st October 2022 all Door Supervision licence holders will be required to hold an in date First Aid qualification and have attended the relevant accredited Upskilling course prior to renewing their SIA licence. Allied International is an accredited training provider approved to deliver the training for you to be compliant and able to apply to renew your SIA licence by attending one of our SIA door supervision upskilling courses. As part of the prerequisite, all students must have a First Aid at Work certificate with a minimum of one year remaining.  This must be presented in advance of the training commencement.  Anyone who requires First Aid Training can attend one of our First Aid training courses prior to the course start date, please contact us for further information.
  • The door Supervision upskilling course comprises of the following units:
  • Principles of Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry
  • Principles of Using Equipment Relevant to Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry
  • Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry
The qualification is assessed through a combination of both practical and theoretical assessments with 4 multi choice exams for each module. Duration – 3 days (less First Aid) “Course dates on request”

Please note, to comply with the SIA regulations you are required to have a current First Aid Certificate or equivalent, should you require this as a bolt-on to your training, please contact us.
